SUPEX WARRANTY POLICY

Supex provides a warranty for all products sold in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. This warranty applies to manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship and does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

Our products are covered by a replacement or repair warranty for 12 months from date of purchase. Products with more than 12 month warranty will have the timeframe clearly stated on the packaging or on supex.com.au.

WHAT IS COVERED

This warranty covers defects in manufacturing or workmanship under normal use. If a product is found to be faulty due to such a defect, Supex will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product free of charge. This does not include the cost of shipping the replacement to you. Your replacement will not be sent until shipping payment has been received.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or incorrect installation
  • Products that have been modified or altered in any way
  • Items returned without proof of purchase
  • Damage sustained during shipping
  • Products with tampered, removed, or defaced serial numbers or labels

MAKING A CLAIM

Before claiming your warranty, you need to determine which category your order falls under:

  1. A) You purchased a Supex item from a third party (in-store retailer, online retailer etc)

Or

  1. B) You purchased a Supex item from supex.com.au 

If A)

You must claim to the party you purchased the item from. This must be following their policy, which is stated by their business. This may include (but is not limited to): proof of purchase, description of the fault, and supporting photos.

Please note, Supex does not avoid responsibility by asking you to return it to the third party from whom you purchased the item. This is part of our process of validating your purchase and completing your warranty claim.

If B)

Please contact our support team at [email protected] with:

  • Proof of purchase (this must include order number)
  • Description of the fault
  • Photos or other supporting information

We aim to process all warranty claims as quickly as possible.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

If the issue with the product is deemed to be due to abuse, misuse, improper installation, or causes outside the scope of this warranty, you may be charged for inspection or repair at our current hourly service rate.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
